But as I understand: Thanks to specialization in NATO, not every nation has all capabilities for big warfare. So generally the US is the one with transporting capabilities like aircraft carriers and transport airplanes. Replacing that will be tough.
Russia is a danger for each and every one of their neighbors because it attacks when they're weak and isolated.
They're hyenas, not lions.
