The hardest part about EV ownership so far has been finding an electrician to quote on installing our Level 2 charger...
But we're making do with a 12A charger on a regular 120V outlet, and it's been alright. Our use patterns mean battery level dips over the week, but tops up over the weekend.

The thing about chasing charging speeds on-par with gasoline refueling is that, as I've said zillions of times, day to day charging at home or work can be slow AF and you won't care (so for the love of god get more chargers at workplaces and apartments etc.) and also
ffs you could just be patient
