I think what’s at issue here is the word “black.” In America, it just so happens that black is a race and a culture. If it were “ItalianSky” nowadays that would be seen only as cultural. If the name changed but it was still focused on culturally “black” things, would it be a problem?

Lol No disagreement here sir. Race is a social construct. But 1) the “black” persons did not make the term nor the one drop rule, they just had to develop under it. And 2) Because they had to operate under that, it is now also a shared culture. Am I wrong?

Fair. I get what you’re saying. Perfect world we don’t acknowledge race at all. And I think that was my point. That a culture conversation got mixed in with race because they share the same name. But that’s another discussion for another day.

... So is art segregated when you use the art feed? Are all the other words in a book segregated when you highlight some of them? Are the actors segregated when you use a spotlight on only some?
