The reason for me choosing to post here is simple - I can deal with anonymous, abusive, blue tick accounts and adverts every four posts, but it's boring.

Could you get your little black book out and give the rugby 🏉 union crowd a little nudge to at least mirror tweets over to here, they will then realise the engagement is hopefully far superior to the Dark Side 🙏
For me, everything turned antagonistic. I was having people whose beliefs I didn’t necessarily agree with, being forced onto my feed purely because they paid X for it. Sensible discourse and debate was strangled
At the moment, nearly every other post over there is Elonia’s🤷🏻♀️. It’s the Elonia Show over there. Can’t see that there’ll b any space 4 Trump once he’s inaugurated & can’t see the relationship blossoming!😬
Exactly this, Brian. I feel I need a sprinkling of Oakshott, Pearson, Cummings, Stanley et al. It's the crude, boring, one line blue tick bots that have pushed me away. And the endless Temu crap.
I agree, it's like being in a pub, talking to friends, when a random punter tries to insert his unwanted right wing, racist views, and you have to blank them or to tell them to go away.
It's great to see posts from accounts that you actually follow. That became impossible on Twitter, I had to actively seek out an account most of the time.
I don't understand this common complaint. I've managed it by turning on notifications, all posts, for the people I follow and only reading such notifications.
Another of the nice, decent, measured and reasoned accounts from the old life on the other platform for me to follow again. We're slowly rebuilding Eden here brick by brick 😉
It’s the constant stream of low-grade ads that pushed me here. I get that it’s a commercial model, but every other reply being overseas property ads, bitcoin, online gaming etc is so so dull…

Nice to be back somewhere sane....
Life is too short for all that vileness
Don't mind a discussion or even a decent argument, but the bots, adverts and Tate types just made it unbearable.
