Canada published its last analysis of this in 2021, based on people federally incarcerated from 1999–2001 (who hadn't since died, been re-incarcerated, etc).
It found a ~50% unemployment rate. Of those who were working, average income was $14k CAD ($10k USD).

The remaining 50% of unemployed formerly incarcerated people had a median income of $0. Literally nothing.
Incarceration is economic warfare.
