I can’t wait until plaintiffs’ counsel (in either case) finally drops the contractor bomb on the defendants, because that is fatal to any bullshit assertion that Trump Co. has no control over what Bukkake does.

Excellent points. By vagueness around “facilitate” there’s been talk from the Trimpista regime that this does not mean “effectuate”—as in I will facilitate a misbehaving child’s better behavior but I can’t insist on it or command it. The Trinpistas (including on the SC) are just so incredibly stupid

Of course they can’t “effectuate” his return—he’s not Trump Co.’s immediate physical custody. They have to *facilitate* his return to U.S. custody and then *effectuate* his entry back here when they have custody. This isn’t even a clever use of semantics on their part.

Effectuate is something that needn’t be accomplished in one fell swoop; the reason conjunctions were invented was to make constructs like “facilitate and effectuate” possible.

Many of them were trained by the Jesuits, who are known for their mastery of equivocation (see Macbeth, “to lie like truth”). They only see clear meaning(like Scalia ignoring the intro clause to the2nd amendment) when it suits. They are casuists not judges.
