Probably the most infuriating thing about a lot of Dems is that they just want to uphold the status quo and will never vehemently oppose the Republicans. There are exceptions like AOC and legend Bernie Sanders, but they are too few for now.

I'm getting tired of these "The Dems" posts. Any large human institution is imperfect. Praise the people in that institution getting it right! Call out the ones getting it wrong by name rather than "all of them". And get involved locally. It makes a huge difference.

It's just one way of looking at it. I think it's the ones among us willing to do these shitty jobs. The criticism is unrelenting and in many cases unearned. I don't believe Democrats can withstand this kind of pressure in addition to what already comes from media and Rs. See: 2024 election.
