My family medicine clinic could use this reminder. They called me yesterday about coming in for a test, and when I ask about masks I was told they "weren't required". I politely declined the test.

That's what is going on at my doctor's office too. I do wish they'd let us switch doctors. There's one nearby that requires masking. I want to leave where I go now so badly!

My husband came down with Covid on Boxing Day. We are both boosted so his symptoms are quite crumby but "mild."
He has been masking and using our guest room/bath. Covid is very much around and we're grateful for vaccine tech that helps mitigate the illness when we do get it.

...separating sick people in the dep't, with no beds available on the wards... and yet, and we cannot transfer sick babies/fragile old folks out due to weather issues...
but PH is quiet, infection control ONLY speaks when there is an inpatient outbreak

today my ER is telling people to be prepared for very long waits due to MULTIPLE respiratory outbreaks of Covid, RSV, Influenza and other viruses..also, the ER is not a clinic, and triage makes sure the sickest ones get seen soonest...but there are few masks seen, 'magical' curtains only...1.
