Our healthcare problem is our CONSERVATIVE PREMIERS UNDERFUNDING THE SYSTEM FOR YEARS - they drove our doctors away.....especially UCP!!Under Rachel Notley, I never had a doctor issue.

I think it depends on the kind of doctor you are and why you practice medicine. Many surgeons and a lot of specialists aren't going anywhere as long as the money flows, but the ones who volunteer for Doctors without Borders might want to flee a failed state.

I enjoyed my time in the USA, and was able to pay off my student loans much faster than had I stayed here. And the intellectual stimulation and challenge were extraordinary! But the hourly feeling of danger took its toll. You don't really notice it until you come back to the warm embrace of Canada.
