Lived in that area for a decade and raised a kid there. Our unhoused neighbors were some of our favorite neighbors, being kind, good-hearted folk. We'd chat, share snacks - kiddo loved giving favorite fruits out - just be people together. I often miss them and think of them, hoping they're well.
