Every time I see one of those "repost if LGBTQ are safe with you" images, they NEVER have alt text.
What this tells me is that while LGBTQ people are welcome, disabled people are not.
Not a good look.

I set up my settings to force me to figure out this stuff.
To be honest I'm not terribly comfortable with the way people just post plain text alone in images anyway. If it really comes down to it, I'll take the time and transcribe it directly w/o the image.
Question how detailed or undetailed should alt text be?
I originally was writing far too much, most advise that shorter is better so trying to keep that in mind now.
As for content, here's a post I made that spawned an entire thread of various people posting other guides and advice. Also, if the text in the image is the point, write in the text.
They’re performative allyship at the best of times (I’m always a big believer in show us we’re safe with you by your actions rather than a pat on the back feel-good image that other performative allies then repost) but if that’s what you’re going to do at least make it accessible!
