In 1984, McDonald’s tested a POPOIDS Happy Meal. Each toy was 3 random plastic pieces - not bad if you’re going back several times, but virtually unusable on their own. Popoids would return in ‘85, but with a “Crazy Creatures” theme so you could, you know, play with your toy.
