Ok so I found the origin of the "72%" figure: apparently recent death tolls published by Hamas show that 72% OF CASUALTIES BETWEEN THE AGES OF 13 and 55 were male.

This is not AT ALL the same saying "72% of casualties were fighting aged males"

they do this periodically to try and make it out like the IDF hasn't deliberately wiped out thousands of families.
