My original statement still stands. Any time a new app comes out or is even in beta, they "backburner" the android users/issues.

The Play Store has a policy where you must have 12 registered testers w/ app installs for 14 days before you can publish a new app. This would obviously cause a release delay.

Since I assume this app is built in Expo/React Native, the upside is that the Apple changes apply to / help Android too.
