Doesn't seem good for Ukraine that RU were able to overwhelm Ukraine in this region so quickly? or was it a planned retreat? i know nothing about this, just pondering from small info I have.
There were information about Ukraine units pulling out days ago already, among rumors they would have to give up. So it's not that fast if they effectively retreated back into Ukraine, let's hope the losses were not too bad...
I think I need to explain my point - once RU moved more units to this area Ukraine couldn't hold it any longer and were overwhelmed. Before that, they had been holding it without any major problems.
This is speculation based on small info I have seen.
Ukraine could have sent more units to Kurs'k too. The fact that they didn't do so in order to secure Korenevo was telling. The reason to do so was Korenevo has the first significant rail yard on a line that comes from Ukraine. This would have been needed to hold Kurs'k long term.
The seasoned troops, that got out, can now be redeployed. Considering Kursk was a temporarily designed operation to divert Russki forces; it was an overwhelming success that way. ❤️🇨🇦 💙🇺🇦
Why do I have the feeling that the Kursk retreat,US aid and intelligence , and Putin achieving a "victory" in Kursk are all connected and pre arranged? If so then Ukraine just gave up its biggest bargaining chip.
Europe needs to collectively state to Russia.
Leave Ukraine, replace your dictator Putin, agree to pay reparations, and things will eventually go back to some sort of normality.
Sanctions will remain if you do not, and you'll become a puppet state of China.
It’s served its purpose of diverting 100,000 Russian troops and supplies over winter away from the creeping front. The morale boost for Ukr was massive. It was always short term and time to move on
I mean this is the third time no where to Ukrainians said “stoopid Russians thot they were being sneaky digging underground but they were owned” only to lose the city within a month. See avdiivka and niu York. Some of this needs to fall on the AfU command’s head.
All the good cover has been exposed & leveled
Eventually all the good kill zones would lose their effectiveness
The good thing is that it was RU territory leveled rather than Ukrainian
Putin needed the 🇺🇸 to stop sharing intelligence with 🇺🇦 so he could retake Kursk. If that bargaining chip’s gone can you imagine what will be demanded of 🇺🇦 when negotiations begin? It may be the reason peace talks in 🇸🇦 seemed to go so smoothly today - the 🇺🇸s were very happy to deliver that gift to 🇷🇺.
It's easy for me to think that withholding arms and intelligence caused this, deliberately to remove one of Ukraine's remaining bargaining chips and force them into a raw deal with the US traitors. Maybe China will step in now. Europe sure has been sitting on its thumbs for three years.
Probably what Trump meant a few days ago with ‘the aid will almost be resumed’: just waiting for Ukraine to be out of Russia so that Ukraine has a bad bargaining situation when the ceasefire starts and the negotiations begin. I have no doubt Russia will accept the ceasefire. What a traitor Trump is
I think that it was clear that it wouldn't been useful for a territory exchange and maybe it had been useful enough to engage (and consume) russian and korean troops. Probably it was not worthwhile anymore. Just guessing.
My sentiment. Swapping Kursk for Donbas would be a loss. I think Kursk adventure was meant to tie up large Russian forces contingent from east front in Donbas to relieve UKR forces there. We see results around Pokrovsk. Kursk was bold and good move, albeit always temporary.
When "Korea" is used without being modified by "North" or "South," it should refer to the legitimate government in Seoul. "North Korea" should be used to reference the vile Kim regime.
Fibre optic fpvs killed the logistics basically. The incursion was too narrow. The same goes for russian pincer advances. Logistics is just impossible until countermeasures are invented.
Now, independent of peace plan, Europe must not revoke the sanctions on Russia, under no circumstances, until Russia leave occupied territory of Ukraine.
Because Ukraine was betrayed by the United States. Free countries should make defense plans without guaranteed U.S. help. I'm very sorry the world has to deal with our abusive bipolar national identity crisis until we implode on ourselves.

I will say that having to leave Kurs'k is disappoint after holding the distraction for so long.
This is speculation based on small info I have seen.
