Oh hey, I remember providing similar comments when Bothell was considering adopting the 2025 comp plan. Like in Seattle, misinformation abounded.

Dan Strauss is now explaining the difference between "zoned capacity" and actual housing that gets built. Upzoning doesn't mean we tear down the entire city; five-story apartments don't get torn down to build six-story ones. "Nobody is forced to sell," he points out.
