The worst part is that that probably already could! All sorts of major products have made-in-america versions; same for high quality home appliances, various levels of "better" plane seating, clothes that don't fall apart in the wash, and most other things people whine they "can't buy anymore"
I was at a home depot with a product in my hand looking it up on Amazon trying to calculate if I would save 2 dollars because the one in store was a pack of 16 and the website was a pack of 20
