The aircraft was over 6 tons, carried only 9 pax, had an endurance of only about an hour and could only do 220 knots. And far from certification. The original prototype burned out due to a battery fire. The second prototype did a single 8 minute flight a few years ago. Can't beat a Piper Chieftain.
It‘s a miracle they found a pilot willing to fly it, that it actually completed one circuit, and that the pilot brought it down in one piece. Not a miracle that there was no second flight.
