I actually think it could potentially be something else. Trump or his sycophantic groups’ attempt to “troll”. If so, I’m sure all 8th graders thought it was funny, but any adult simply finds it disgusting, embarrassing and symbolic of the lack of seriousness with which our government is being run.

Agree. I hesitate to agree 100% with your assessment only because sometimes I think that gives Trump too much credit for actually thinking (but I do agree he is just a puppet). I flip between thinking this is all pure incompetence or a devious plan. Probably a combo of both.

I don’t think he thinks beyond the next round of golf. I think he’s told to be places and why it’s important in the context that it makes him look strong and important. Stephen Miller appears to be running the show. TBH I’ve never been convinced he writes even a fraction of the stuff he posts.
