If you haven't seen Michael Shannon in William Friedkin's "Bug," based on the Terry Letts play of the same name, you should see Michael Shannon in William Friedkin's "Bug," based on the Terry Letts play of the same name.
A movie for anyone who saw Take Shelter and said "Michael Shannon is way chilled out, here. He's like a normal type of guy, and watching this is making me too relaxed."
I feel like I saw Take Shelter right when Shannon and Chastain Shea Wigham were all simultaneously exploding all over film and TV in the early 2010s. Good timing.
Fun fact if you go hang out in Oldtown Chicago you will run into Michael Shannon. He’s very nice and often drunk and it’s really unnerving to see him wearing shorts.
Thats ok you didnt know. I have just heard him mention it in a couple interviews over last few months and he has had dramatic weight drop. It probably caught up with him after three decades.....everything is harder as we age up.

Still no idea what that play was about, no notes 10/10 performance.
