The horseshoe effect is real.
Bernie, what about Black communities, im/migrants, disabled folks, women, queer and trans people? Want lists of ways that all of these populations are parts of "working families?"
Want stats on eg the many ways abortion bans force/trap families into cycles poverty?

I'd be interested to see part two of the tweet.
Horseshoe theory isn't real.
The USA is so far right that even the Democratic party is right-of-center, politically.
The USA has zero Leftist representation. That's why y'all think horseshoe theory is real.
Pretend Biden said that, I dare you.
Bernie is saying that he would support Trump actually doing these things.
He did not say that Trumps intensions were ever to truly do these things or that he actually expects him to do these things.
#hyperbole
I've witnessed such in my own family. Things being said that if my relative understood the actual implications, they'd be aghast. But white boomer privilege leads to political myopia.
He has always been happy to throw out his precious principles when they suit some particular contrarian political point.
But they certainly enjoyed amplifying Bernie when he punched left or blamed the DNC for him failing to draw in voters.

There might be one, I suppose, but in eight years I have zero empirical evidence.
TYT's Cenk has basically echoed Sanders' message and been vilified by the far left/progressives. They ignore Sanders when he did it then and does it now.
Of course this isn't necessarily a defensrle of Sanders as he's shit the bad few times but liberal politics is just trash.
They don't think in systems they see singular events and think they're isolated.
But it looks too much like currying favor. There should be NO supporting him EVER.
Like, the direction that Bernie is talking about is a direction which would directly alleviate the suffering of marginalized groups more than anyone else. Universal health care helps poor people more than the rich.
Thos has always been the far left playback. 'Perform' the acts of social and racial equity, and when that becomes inconvenient...jettison it in favor of single minded toxic populism.
No one who talks about trump supporting the middle class should be taken as anything other than a collaborationist or dupe.
TRANS FOLKS AND POVERTY?
Holy white socialist dudebros, batman
A decent troll would include eg a lot of statistics, specifics. This is mushy, gives him room to do WHATEVER.
Of course he also relied on xenophobia, racism, sexism, and elements from Nazi propaganda (probably: b/c it works; certainly not b/c antisemitic)
Sanders always gets a "participation trophy" from the far left.
They called Hillary a liar for saying Sanders wasn't around when she fought for universal healthcare- just b/c he stood behind her at a press conference.
What part of the bill did he draft? What bill did he ever offer?
"I will support him when he ABC to impact disabled people's lives, which will have DEF impact on ## families."
Nope.
and no mention of the fact that Trump is wildly corrupt, planning to rob the US people and sell the country for parts, or (I added) that he's, you know, a rapist.
Just double checking before, because you always seemed to be reasonable, and "anarchists are the same as fascists" seems like a pretty big step away from your usual nuanced takes.
I just got thrown off by the horseshoe theory part up top because as an anarchist the centrists who say that are usually attacking me.
Your point about Bernie's inability to grasp intesectionality is a good one.
