Ah yes, many people think the slogan of all police is "Protect and serve," but it is only the informal slogan of the LAPD and in no way a job requirement. I love making sure folks know this.

Protect and serve capital, which is crazy because cops barely make a livable wage especially if they have kids. They're like little puppy guard dogs trained to protect this thing they hardly even benefit from. They do get the huge benefit of living above the law though.
