One of these days, they should calculate how much corporations shortchanging their responsibilities (healthcare, fair wages, etc) to their workers are costing the country.
No, they're right. WE the workers control the economy. WE can grind it to a screeching halt if we so choose. They have no power, WE DO. Time to show them what hurting their bottom line looks like.
Just like the studios, these automakers chose to let workers go out on strike rather than make a reasonable deal that they can absolutely afford. We know they can afford it because of their executive salaries and their payouts to shareholders. 
“On top of the [$5 billion in] stock buybacks [in the last 12 months], the Big Three have reported $21 billion in profits in just the first six months of 2023”
These companies could prevent strikes, but they choose not to.
