I love this video, you can see the moment when I realised “Football” was a reference to soccer and not gridiron, but I’d invested too much in the glitching of footage to let go. So it just turned into a mess of footballs which was kind of fitting and served as the jump off point for the liner notes

Speaking of future doktorb, I’m currently getting ready for an IRL gig, trying to recreate live improvised doktorb using a soft sampler, drum machine and electrified kalimba/fx. Currently deep in the “dear god wtf am I doing” phase of experimentation.

that sounds like it would sound awesome. though sometimes definitely you have to leave behind the idea of re-creating any idea 1-1 to find the best way to perform. good luck!

Thank you!!!! I’ve never been one for recreating something which already exists. I’m more into trying to channel the spirit and vibes of a project in new and exciting ways
