Late to the party, but Strange Darling is phenomenal. Brilliant script, brilliant acting, brilliant directing. It reminded me a bit of seeing Blood Simple when it came out in 1984 — an independent noir thriller announcing major new talent. This and Anora are the best two films I’ve seen this year.
