Depends on how it’s processed. Meat is accepted with compost in Seattle. This is a several week process that leads to safe compost as long as the decedent was free of prion diseases.

I always like the idea of donating my body to forensic science. Throw me out in the woods for a month and let nature have its way then have students come in and try to figure out how long I have been rotting so they can apply that knowledge in various fields
