Six Flags New England shared an update on the new Quantum Accelerator coaster, which has just gone vertical. It's likely missing the park's opening day, April 5th 2025.

It's just so weird that all of a sudden now it starts to go vertical and soon they'll be approaching opening date! I guess, even with the merger, some things never change..
I think it's fine if you shoot for opening a new ride around:
-Springtime/Spring Break/Easter timeframe
-Memorial Day Weekend
-Between July 4th and Labor Day
(Once you're past Labor Day, it makes more sense just to delay until next year, like what happened at Over Georgia/Great Adventure in 2024)
Delaying a ride stinks, which can be upsetting to people who bought a pass just for "the new ride." But ultimately construction delays happen and winter weather can stop construction, especially in the Northeast.
Was just thinking the other day how I hadn't heard anything about this ride since its announcement. One last hurrah for the legacy Six Flags way of adding rides I suppose...

(Now Knott's Montezuma, on the other hand...)
