Letting Trump have his way to “hang himself” will not work. When political parties fail to fight for core constituents and core values, they don’t win the next election. They drift further into irrelevance. Look at GOP success with union-busting.

Regarding your point about wanting to mark this country indelibly: I’ve always felt that the original election of Trump had everything to do with the Deplorables’ desire to retaliate for a black man having achieved the position of President by then shitting all over that office with Trump.

Don't write this down, but I find Milton probably as boring as you find Milton. Mrs. Milton found him boring, too.

He's a little bit long-winded. He doesn't translate very well into our generation and his jokes are terrible.
