What happened today was akin to the school yard, all the bullies piling onto the little guy. Maybe what Trump wanted was another world leader to come and kiss the ring like Macron and Starmer did. But those leaders aren't representing a country fighting for survival, with thousands murdered.
Clear animosity from Trump held over from the initial rejection of the ludicrous minerals offer etc for 500b. Ruined Trumps quick deal claim and he saw that as an insult.
Starmer has really no choice. He must stand with Ukraine. Trump will be catatonic now and will shred everything he can.
Disgusting that old 'bone spurs' had the audacity to tell Zelenskyy that he wouldn't be so brave without US support.
Zelenskyy refused the offer of a flight out of Ukraine when Russia invaded.
In a similar situation, Trump would have been out of there like a rat out of an aqueduct.
His and Vance's whole attack (expecting him to be grateful - for what? It wasn't Trump or Vance's money, it was America's and under the last administration) was a set up. Someone daring not to kiss the ring. The american people need to ditch him.
We were all warned, repeatedly warned, and as with the 30's the masses failed to listen believing instead in the underlying humanity of their chosen political leaders.
It was victim blaming in the extreme. Trump’s doctrine is laid bare for the world to witness - he’s doing Putin’s bidding for him. America can no longer be considered a reliable ally.
Trump lost his temper at the point where Zelensky said "you will feel it" in respect of the effects of Russia moving into Ukraine/Europe (I presume).
Why was Trumo angry? Did he not understand what Zelensky meant?
I don't think Trump can process in real time.
Zelensky seemed quite reasonable.
I'd imagine he'd be less obvious. I think he really is the embodiment of the term useful idiot. Not an agent as such, but encouraged to be sympathetic.
It's getting to the stage where we actually need to treat the US as an adversary. Unthinkable until a few weeks ago. Governments and politicians around Europe need to stand up to this, no matter how difficult it is

That even as a thought is redundant.
"What the fuck has he done now"
But he's dignified and an Adult
I don't think I've ever been so angry watching a news item
I remember the guy standing in front of the tanks at Tiananmen Square.
I think this is a similar moment in history
But sadly for the wrong reasons.
Putin has succeeded in his aims to destroy American influence
Not just trump, Mitch McConnell etc
The year before the outbreak of WW2
That seems like an apt comment
But it does feels like quite a scary time at the moment
The world seems to have become a darker

What the world needs is everyone to stand up for Ukraine.
The USA just became a total shithole country.

Idiots - here we go again

He interpreted it as a threat 100%. As Zelensky said it I cringed because I knew that Trump would misunderstand it.
