Nowhere does any of this say that! Come on, we can be better about this. Read a little bit about Ken Martin before announcing him another Jaime Harrison.
Hell, Wikler was endorsed by all major Democrat congressional leadership and was well known for cozying to Billionaires!
Yes, the point is Wikler and Martin are both extremely cozy and sycophantic to billionaires. Literally no one could win DNC chair without that. You think they’d ever vote in a chair who couldn’t and wouldn’t suck up to billionaires, regardless of their terrible policy views?
What races are those? I’m from Minneapolis and I think you’re legit just wrong lol. Winkler wudda been my choice obviously but I’m not even tryna be a contrarian I just wanna know 🤷🏻♂️. (I have to state that now that this site is Facebook).
Second; Typically I’m in huge favor of Ken but this seems to be a blatant attention grab on his part by continuing to try to shit on the Democrats for making the wrong call that favors the establishment while ignoring endorsements from Nancy, Schumer, and Jeffries
The endorsement from Schumer came as a shock to me when it first happened, but when I looked at his record and listened to an interview with him, it seemed like a worthwhile boon. Hopefully Mother Nature sorts pelosi and Schumer out sooner than later, and this new chair kicks ass
Reverse my man Jon back at yourself and don’t at me until you understand how this works kid 😂. One of them lost Barnes a seat, the other is called winnesota. Ryan Grimm is great but, sometimes he’s a little off. This one of those rare cases. (IMO). Check our track record dawg.
Ben pulled Wisc out of the mud but they just lost two big elections to repubs, Minnesota Dem's have more or less transformed the state. Really in terms of "Do they actually win?" Both clear that bar easily. But Winkler had Pelosi and Schumer support, which kinda undercuts the whole establishment bit
..........Do, do you think a state level party head had anything to do with a national election? And he was key to Waltz being so effective in Minn in the first place.
We lost our trifecta and now have a split house and senate. The DFL is a laughable name at this point, as no farmers vote democrat here anymore. We lost the iron range. Yes dems have held on, but barely.
That is not really because of him. It’s because the state has been deeply Democratic for a long time when if comes to general elections for POTUS. Mondale won the state in 1984 when he lost all but his home state (which he barely won) and DC.
And also, the attack on consultant class is not something exclusive from wikler, at least 2 other candidates includes Ken Martin also did, DNC chair is elected delegates from states, they benefit from loss of national consultant class, also Pelosi Schumer Jeffries endorsed Wikler
I hadn't seen that one, but that is indeed why he lost. Are the dems so dirty that they're willing to lose it all for the country, for us, while they escape with their money? I don't want to believe it has truly come to that...somebody please convince me otherwise? Please?
id like to support the democrats during their transition from collaborationists, to different color than the other fascist fascists.
i know it can be tough.
Funny, I missed that post. Here’s an interesting tidbit I stumbled on when researching Lindy Li… the dark money that funded this PAC came from Pelosi’s Congressional Dems PAC. I’m absolutely certain they don’t want Wikler letting the sunlight in.
How am I not surprised.
And I just read through the thread, thank you! Somehow the thing I'm the most confused about is why does Lindy look like she's in her 60s when her bio down there says she was born in 1990. So she's like 34?? Really??
Thats why they fought Bernie harder than they fought Trump. They're more worried about losing control of the DNC then they are about losing the white house.
All the people in the comments arguing about who endorsed who. You guys didn’t even realize there was a third candidate? Faiz Shakir. You didn’t know because the news told you about the two establishment dems. They are literally the same people, with different names.
I've seen multiple dem strategists on here saying that others don't care if they win or lose because they make money either way - and that they actually make more money on the next election if the previous one was a loss.
WTF???
This 100% does need to be looked into - it's all about $$$.

Dem staffers have relationships with campaign vendors to whom they funnel insane amounts of money, for consulting, event planning, etc.
These vendors then become future high paying private sector employers of said Dem staffers.

It's a repeat of Harris saying "nothing will fundamentally change." The party is addicted to losing and doubling down on failed tactics
2. Biden said that, not Harris.

They both were going to run a populist campaign moving forward

Add these two ages together and they’d still be younger than Chuck Schumer.

I thought “we haven’t learned a fucking thing.
So, yeah, I'm pretty happy with this.
