Does this mean the DHS-TSA security screeners at airports can now grope the genitals of passengers they deem “attractive” with more impunity than before?
I would prefer the screening be done by the airlines and/or airports own employees and/or contractors for the airport or airlines. The TSA can be relegated to a regulator or its function sent back to the FAA.
I prefer the TSA stay a unionized work force. I just think they will privatize it. That will just lower pay, worsen benefits and training all to enrich some already insanely wealthy capitalist.
Given the greater likelihood of success in suing private companies than suing the government, sending the screening function back to be paid for and operated by airports and airlines is my preference. The employees should of course have a right to be unionized regardless of employer.
