Listening to Jasmine Crocket and other newer Democratic members of Congress gives me hope. They understand both the urgency of now and the long game of progress.
Why does she think the GOP is going to follow rules and laws? They are going to do whatever they want and use executive authority if they can’t get votes. And when they want a law, they will let SCOTUS bypass Congress.
