I'm not seeing how he could avoid *not* paying for it out of pocket, and it's worth way more than Twitter was. (Even the world's richest man has limits.)
They have an Instagram alternative in the works called Flashes and they add Video files like TikTok to BlueSky itself. Both are in there infant or developmental stages though so use with care. Just search for Videos on More Feeds and you can find the Video portion. Flashes is not out yet, I think.
