Let’s run all of the diseases by RFK Jr first. Measles, put him at ground zero, polio, same thing, COVID, influenza, diphtheria, meningitis, bubonic plague, smallpox, shingles, cholera… if he survives all of that, we’ll try others, just to see how he does. He’s so sure, surely he won’t mind.

My dad was a polio survivor. He was left with stunted, atrophied legs after infection as an infant in 1928. He suffered all his life, including 20 years with Post Polio Syndrome before he died in 2008. When I came home in 1966 and told him I got the vaccine on a sugar cube at school, he cried.
