Not sure there's ever been an artist I had a bigger turn around on in my life. Couldn't understand or enjoy any of his stuff when I was younger, but grew into a full on evangelist as I got older and learned how to absorb what he was putting into the world. It was actually your pods with twin peaks that made me have the same turn around. Wat he show stuff as a teen and firmly rejected it all but after watching TP the return, I don’t think I respect and enjoy a director more than Lynch.

Been truly appreciating his work for the first time this year and the watchcasts have added a great deal to my enjoyment on the journey. I've been blown away by The Return so far and now finishing the last 8 episodes is going to be even more bittersweet.

Glad we got through Twin Peaks and a handful of movies on the Watchcast before he passed. Held out hope we might get one more from him, even as news of his health made it clear that was unlikely. The Return is about as good a final punctuation mark you could ever put on an individual career in art.

Lynch's stamp on cinema was truly a unique perspective, and the artform has truly lost a legend.

I'll never forget my first viewing of Mulholland Drive, and I'm glad I watched it much later in life.
