Honestly, I think major grocery chains should have a separate line item on grocery bills, indicating the extra cost for tariffs. Not political (don't call it Trump Tax), just call it 'tariff surcharge'

someone has to educate Americans. The school system and FOX news etc sure as hell aren’t. Tariffs are not complicated. In their simplest terms, it means higher consumer prices on imported goods . My gr 9 social studies students understood it. Not a difficult concept.

Right, the reason the US have 30 trillion in debt is due to all the tax brakes to corporations and billionaires. If they paid fare share you would have no debt. Same as tariffs on Canada. If you bought less oil and gas you would have a trade balance surplus.

Bartow County, next door to MTG. We are Loudermilk’s district. My local friends are saying they’ve counted at least 2 and maybe 3 others here. Mostly along the interstate and the state highways 41 and 411 (411 is the road to MTG territory). This one is on 113, a main thoroughfare to the interstate.

Setting aside my feelings as a Canadian for a moment, what I enjoy most about this is its economic accuracy. The costs of tariffs will largely be paid by American consumers. And polls show that most Americans understand this perfectly. Unfortunately, Trump is too willfully ignorant to know.
