That leadership announcement will be looked back upon as the first misstep of a campaign that never got its feet under it.

Everyone else announced before a cheering crowd, demonstrating life and energy.

Let's talk healthcare. 2 weeks ago my Gayle had a fall, landed on her hands. She's had pain in both since. Went to a walk-in, Dr identified a fracture, sent her to emerge. She got there at 11:20 am, for X-rays and possible cast.

Triage nurse told her that at triage they can only order x-ray for one arm. She'd have to wait for a doctor to get the other. But "we'll probably put a cast in one, and a removable one in the other."

5 hours later, she went in to x-ray.

5 hours after that they told her she has 2 fractures on one side and one on the other. "Here's a prescription for braces, go to Wellwise to get them. We don't do casts here anymore."

Oh, I didn't think that's the case. What *could* have happened in this case was that she went to out family Dr instead of a walk-in, he requisitioned an x-ray at gnmi a few blocks from us. They'd get the results to her Dr next day, and he could send her to wellwise. 1/2

Same result, she'd get some braces on her wrists in a day or two. But she didn't waste 10 hours in our waste-of-space local hospital.
