Yup. They had two big chances to close out before half and then getting ball back afterwards to go and could have taken the lead. Those opportunities fell short and Rams scored on theirs, putting the Bills down 3 scores by middle of 3rd.

Undeniably correct that the middle of the game (where we dug the hole) is where we truly lost, but we did claw back and were denied an opportunity to finish it due to questionable decisions/strategy. I’m not saying to fire anyone here, but this did feel eerily similar to playoffs, which is worrying.

Because most fans understand that they can’t draw up a defensive scheme to stop the rams offense, but they sure as hell knew how to manage the timeouts better than the coaches.

(The punt on 4th and 2 at the end of the second quarter was similarly egregious).

100% ... Rams had maybe 2 "omg wtf" plays, the Nacua sideline catch was one of them. But for the most part they just kept converting 3rd downs and scoring. Just all around soft defensive failute.

They lost because the defense was absolute trash, and the coaches were dog walked all day.

Add in the dumbass decision of taking that penalty instead of chancing a FG against an offense that had 0 issues moving the ball and this loss lies directly where it should. McDermott’s dumbass.

It's funny because as someone who doesn't follow football and grew up in Houston, when I think of the Bills all I think of is the post season game in 93, being behind the Oilers 30-3 at halftime and coming back to win and eventually make it all the way to the Superbowl
