Know this isn't the most youthful of platforms, but do think there's a good spread of ages on here. There's everything from 30 year olds talking about insomnia and backpain, to people in their 60s and 70s talking about insomnia and backpain

I’m 68 and have neither, and if I did I wouldn’t bother anyone here about it. I’m just here trying to keep up on the world without Nazis bothering me. Now excuse me, I have to drink some Benefiber.
What I REALLY love about being 70 is the random (but thankfully temporary) pain. Like pinching a nerve because I spent too long in a recliner watching Netflix, and limping around for 3 days. Drat!
And now the 20somethings as well. They hustle hard for the coinage doing manual labor. (They don't wanna get caught in corporate BS like we did.) Insomnia they are friends with, like us. And the physical pain is now their friend as well.
Yeah, it’s a nice mix of folks. I do appreciate that the majority have some life experience, and the nature of the platform lends itself to communicators and storytellers.
there are different hash tags its awesome every stage of metamorphism 🦋 is found here in, under the Blue Sky, All you have to do is look. Hopefully that is not too much effort for your babied mind and unstressed body. # are fun.
I'm almost 60 with insomnia and backpain. Maybe a little depression... A lot of anger.. No money. Lot of bills. This is the bluesky blues.... I think I just wrote a song.
63 years old weighing in on Insomnia, and every bone in my body hurts. That said, I might be old, but my Millennial kid said that I am “way more fun at concerts, than her 30 yr old friends”.
Naproxen doesn't work for me, but regular ibuprofen does. My doctor's got me on 600mg at a time. Usually take one with my morning meds and try to get another one in about 6-8 hours after, then if I can, another 600 before bed. Between that and a new bed, my back feels better than it has in 10 years.
Ugh, I can't imagine dealing with back pain for that long. Mine came on very recently, and my doctor recommended exercise, so I got a trainer. I think this has been helping quite a bit, when I don't overdo it that is. Lately have been throwing back more nsaids than I'd like.
I took a lovely tumble down a flight of concrete stairs at 12 in a car vs. bicycle accident (don't ask), got thrown down another flight of stairs by a bully at 14 (and landed on my feet which was, upon reflection, a mistake), got thrown off a horse three or four times at 15 and kicked once-
And almost everyone no matter what age popping ennui like Tic Tac paracetamol as a coping mechanism to cover the pain of anomie and general collapse of human rights. And, you know, other fancy short words, like filigree and tedium and torpor.
The insomnia has been cured by a supplement & the back is grand atm, touch wood
My current pains are getting 3 teens to do the dishes & not stay out too late
I feel so left out! I’m in my 60s and have no insomnia or back pain. One of the times regular exercise has helped. Before I get jumped on, yes I do realize injuries happen to people. And I do have other physical issues, but I’ll be damned if they slow me down much.
I need to get back at it. PTSD and depression from combat deployment and then divorce a few years later really took it's toll on life motivation for about half a decade
The resting squats are the way humans lived for 1,000's of years before we recently got chairs. People rested like that and it's how our skeleton became the way it is. NOT doing this damages your bones and creates many of the problems. Research it !!
Well at 82 I do 10 full squats a day, a few pushups, took a 4 mile walk in the woods yesterday and will be out to the gym in about an hour.
Not a big difference physically than most of my life. Found out some years ago how important it is to keep active and don't become a couch potato.

Thank you US Army
... and the moment when the pain-killers cease working.
*wink*
Overall, it’s a good mix.
Oh god am I not the "youth" anymore?
Could you pass the ibuprofen?

Just something l do...not a doctor or a coach.
Every muscle is connected so just concentrate on one muscle at a time.
