Apparently am finally at a stage in my life where I'm older than the entirety of the Kerry men's senior football team, which disappointingly means I'm unlikely to make the panel at this stage

The day I retired from international football was hard. Not really for Ireland, who'd never thought to cap me on account of being awful at soccer but I was so upset I couldn't even announce it.
Ah now, there's a lot to be said for experience. If underdog team sport movies have thought me anything, the old pro and/or unexpected woman is the way to go. Knucklepuck exception obvs.
Unfortunately, as we get older we have to accept the truth of the limitations that age brings.
