I and every other autistic person I know hate April Fools. While some pranks are wholesome, a whole lot of them are cruel - and then on top of it, sometimes we get mocked for believing in a joke that isn't necessarily obvious to us.

One time on April Fools Day when I was a kid my mom served fake meatloaf for dinner that was made of chocolate rice crispy (complete with fake mashed potatoes aka ice cream) and my brother and I got a big laugh out of it, and for me that really set the bar on what pranks should be like 😄
