Exactly. My school had 5 SROs, (=$300K). Mostly they hung around w coach-bro-dude staff talking sports. When I started getting threats, I asked admin for security in the library. Admin refused. So I asked for SRO walk-thrus a couple times a day. They agreed to once, & half the time didn’t do it.

We have a security staff member at our library and they honestly just makes literally everything worse. What a waste of resources.
