I really wish Query Manager had the options for asking about author's social media accounts other than Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. I don't use any of those anymore, and there are plenty of authors who find me here on Bluesky. Perhaps a box for a general: Other Social Media accounts - ThreadSky

Like others, I bullet list mine at the bottom of the query. I don’t want an agent to have to search. I wasn’t ever a big Twitter user, so it doesn’t give much insight anyway, but I like Insta, LinkedIn, and ❤️Bluesky.

That’s a good idea. I did email Query Manager to suggest adding more options or perhaps adding a general Social Media box, so we’ll see if they make any changes in the future.

Perhaps tomorrow I’ll send some feedback to Query Manager and then turn one of the generic Author Question boxes into a place where people can mention their other social media accounts. It really does save me time in tracking down/cyberstalking folks when I’m contemplating whether to offer rep.

This is one of the reasons I put all my social media stuff at the bottom of my query letter. I rarely get on Twitter, and I don’t post elsewhere often, but I want to share that info in case an agent wants to see how much I love cats and Kdramas, among other things. I hope this comes to fruition!
