This is an extreme point, but I struggle to disagree, especially after the backlash over Hogg promoting primaries for do-nothing incumbents. Democrats complain about gerrymandering and then reap the benefits of gerrymandered districts by remaining in office forever.

There are 2 vacancies right now because of Dems who ran, won and died in their 70s this year.
