One of my #congress folk launched a new site with “Join Team [their name]!” messaging. Our country is in this mess because people act like politics is a sports rivalry akin to the Red Sox vs. Yankees, Cardinals vs. Cubs, etc.

If that’s not the message they were trying to convey, they really should fire whoever thought it would be a good idea to make them seem like we should be grateful to be their obedient little followers. Their job is to serve their constituents - we don’t need another wannabe cult leader. 🙄
