Growing up on Sanibel Island, I used to see shells everywhere. The last time I was there, before hurricane Ian, felt like there was hardly any schools compared with my youth. This is a beautiful picture, thank you for sharing it

Well it’s from neighboring key, just south of Siesta… I’ve been in this area for over 20 years and don’t remember many shells on Siesta key beach but there was always a lot on Turtle beach…
My family used to vacation on Siesta Key in the early 60’s. There were just a few mom and pop hotels and the beach was glorious. There would be a lot of shells after a storm
