There's a lady in my building who uses her walker. Fits her Singer, and a couple bags of WIPs. I see her going on the bus every week to her sewing group 😍

Tutto wheeled bags are the only way to go! They come in a range of sizes and rainbow of colors. Secure, sturdy, easy to wheel. Just don’t pack it too heavy! Bigger isn’t always better

There is a "collapsible shopping cart with two baskets" (search query) and two levels to the cart. Bin on bottom for fabric and sewing machine on top? :) They're a little pricey, but can also be used for groceries. :)

What about a rolling walker? (Rollator) Sewing machine on the seat, fabric under seat. That way it's multi purpose, not just for quilting. Especially if your instability is progressive like mine, you'll have it for when cane isn't enough

I got a simple one at Canadian Tire. No basket, it's more like a very small dolly, but it folds completely flat and has a telescoping handle. Came with a bungee cord to help secure things. Not perfect, but I like the ability to fold it down into my car or closet.
