We finally got the MMWR about H5N1 infection chains involving cats in Michigan. Two farmworkers appear to have caught H5N1 from cows/milk and passed it to house cats, who may have passed it to humans. What’s striking here is what we don’t know because humans refused to be tested. 🧪
