One of the Falmouth-based lifeboats, 'Richard Cox Scott' retired yesterday after 23 years of service.

A flotilla of lifeboats from all the neighbouring stations and a coastguard helicopter accompanied her as she quietly left harbour for the last time without pomp or fuss. Very moving.
