The colored courts help to distinguish the in season tournament games from the normal games, which I think was a clever way to make them stand out. The visual appeal of the courts varies but I actually like the creativity of it.

All they had to do to do that was put the tournament logo somewhere on the court. Painting the entire court a color is completely unnecessary.
